Tan and Beer, Beer and Tan.

Wagwan Chums...

Right - since my last post I have been a busy boy! Work wise, I have smashed out about $2000 of sales (taking home around $800) and I have managed to put some of that into my bank account for a rainy day. Big LOL.

I must apologies for those ghastly words Filipino Ken (see below right) wrote on my last blog - he is a horrible human, he really is - being Filipino says it all (no offence meant to any of you chaps out there who are reading this...)

Besides work I have been to the beach several times, eaten a fair few burgers and kebabs (see bottom) and had a few 'sensible' days on the piss... sorry mum. The weekend before last consisted of beach, burgers and booze. This weekend consisted of something pretty much the same. I like to call it my two days off. So far my favourite beach is Gordon's Bay (see left). It is located 5 minutes walk from Coogee and consists of flat water, sting rays, lilo's and clear water. Its amazing...

Australia Day occurred last Wednesday. This is a public holiday to celebrate Captain Cook finding Australia. In other words, lets have a BBQ, blow up a paddling pool and eat beer... It was 36C so the perfect climate to tan my bonnet. I'm becoming more African like as each day passes! Don't worry any of you health conscious people out there - I am making sure I apply a decent amount of sun cream. I have already felt the effects of sun burn once so far!

So I have met some awesome people so far. Some are Australian, some are English. I feel like I am settling in nicely. I want to say a quick word of thanks to Jessica Tily and her mum Charlotte for letting me stay for 2 weeks and a bit... I really appreciates it a lot and I know for sure so do old Jane & Roger back home! So once again - thanks very very much Jess, Charlotte, Wesley and Sonny :)

In the meantime I am looking for a bed as I have moved into a foooooking amazing apartment...

More to follow on this!

Hope everyone at home is well! Up the robins! Sams off to get a pizza!

(ps. Mike - keep up the good work!)

Red Hot PR

So I have a job... This job is with Red Hot PR, a innovative marketing/ public relations/and sales company. We specialise in beauty products such as Spa Days, Hair Cut specials, Massages, Facials and the odd Club night here and there.

I came to Australia expecting to be a street sales team member however things have changed. I am now paying rent for the office of the company with 3 others - Aflie Godden, Kieran Colvin and a 'Phillipino' Kenneth Stevens (see pic below)! Yes, us four are now basically running the show in Sydney! Not going to lie we have a challenge on our hands. Its brilliant. So far this week - in three days of work ive made $250 of sales - not the most, but i have alot of appointments booked in for next week and hopefully a fair amount to earn. This morning I have interviewed 4 people to come and work for us, hopefully the can get out and make some good dolla... if they make money i make money. Lad.
Here is a short message from Ken, my Phillipino co-director.... " wow i cant belive you read this putrid crap! im an aussie and i work with this jerkkkkkkkk!!!!! i feel so sorry for you!!!!! but i do too!! so its ok!!! his reatardness is quiet funny in a sick way! the best thing about this man is his smile..."

Thanks Kenneth... Freak... Besides all of this chat of work work work, doing 12 hour days etc, I still havent managed a proper tan. If anything my forehead and forearms are the best area of my sweet chassis to have caught a good amount of sun. Im hoping for a weekend on the beach... I deserve it!  x

Foundations.

Coo Coo to my beloved followers,

Today is my fourth day and i have accomplished many things. One of these accomplishments is a slight amount of sunburn to my waist line. Ouch. No idea how this happened as i applied a thick amount of sun cream to my highly toned chassis, with the help of Jess Tily. In fact, Jess i blame you for this burn!

I've been to make sandcastles at 2 beaches so far; Maroubra & Coogee. Surf at Maroubra was choppy and big - about 5/6 foot and Coogee had some nice 3 footers. Good fun playing in the sea!

I've ventured out a couple of times so far. I had a rather large one in Kings Cross with Tily, Hepzi, Alfie and his mates, at a rather fine establishment called Candy's Apartment. $4.50 beers was a good start to the night. Made the most of that (soz mum). During the night i partied with some fine indie folk, then all of a sudden Kay Holden (from uni) was throwing some horrible shapes in front of me on the dancefloor. Whaaaaat theeee f******k - random!

GOOD NEWS. I start work on Monday with RED HOT PR. Quite optimistic about this, hopefully can make some good money and then set the foundations for a sweet time in Sydney. Hopefully I will be able to afford a sweet pad. I'm looking to live in Coogee, which has a sweet beach. It also has plenty of nice hotels (aussie word for bar/pub). It alllssoooo has plenty of good eateries, one of which i sampled the other day - MOO Burger - bloody tremendous - put me back around 12 quid though... ohhhh, too soon.

If anyone happens to bump into either Jane or Roger, please give them a hug for me and send my love. Can't be easy for them to lose their little angel to a country 10680 miles away. TAA DAAA. X

Chinese Sales Man and a Beer...

MOOOOORRRNNNNINNIIIIGGGGGG
I landed 2 hours late in Sydney - There was a blizzard and a foot of snow in South Korea, so was stuck on the runway for 2 hours whilst they de-iced the plane. I took 10mg of Valium, which knocked me out so managed a good sleep on the flight. Landed at 8am Australian time, Jess 'pneumonia' Tily picked me up after i walked through immigration with no problems. Went back to hers, had a cuppa, then sorted a bank account immediately with John K the bank clerk - Great bloke, he really was. Then went off to Bondi Junction where I sorted my phone out with Vincent Song - one of the many Gooks in the city.

Coincidently met up with Hepzi 'had a wine last night' Evans and went for lunch in Newtown. Not going to lie, but I saw $10 on the street - probs from someones pocket - i efficiently picked it up. Haven't moved that fast for a while....
Still wide awake - went to see Ollie Burridge, great man.
Got to sleep last night after a BBQ with Jess and family and friends. BBQ included shrimps steak and sausages.... and a few beers including the one pictured - Monteith's Radler Bier, a beautifully brewed lager with a hint of lemon juice. Very tasty i must say, reccomend it to all males and females. I managed to stay up til 10pm, had a great night sleep and woke up this morning at 8am.

Off to Maroubra beach today with Alfie Godden, Jess, Hepzi and Ollie. Tan on....

Bibimbap...

So, ive just landed in South Korea @ Incheon Intl Airport... just over a 10 hour flight. Slept for about a hour, had an onflight meal called Bibimbap - was terrific, so decided on having another, filled me up a treat. Think it consists of mushrooms, courgette type things, gherkins, some brown stuff, sesame oil, chillies, chilli sauce, fermented cabbage and steamed rice. I thoroughly reccomend Korean Air, seats were spatious, entertainment was brilliant - had about 60 movies available to watch anytime, including 25 or so recent releases... The stewardess' were also very cute!

Anyway, looking out the window of the departure terminal - Korea has about a foot of snow, airports still running though - unlike Heathrow. Apparantly its -10C at the moment outside, so im happy im not here for too long. Im just sat in a free internet cafe. This internet cafe has about 20 Samsung Laptops connected to desks, with leather seats, ideal. Righteo, gonna go watch a free Korean show for foreigners... Woop woop.

Thanks for those who came Friday night, had an awsome time... My good Muslim friend Amir came up with a sweet idea to write a blog, so i thought i might as well... Lets see how long i keep it up for.

Anyways, Great meal @ Zizzi's... Great lash with everyone including Jane & Roj @ The Retreat... and a Great finish in Subtone... Well done to the man who went swimming at 7am, great effort. It was a cracking send off. I'm Flying out to Australia in 23 hours, so better get on with the packing!
